Website to reflect Nicholas Lees’ ethereal sculptures

Fivepilchard is very fortunate to have a new commission from another exciting leading UK artist. Nicholas Lees’ work can be seen internationally as well at home in the UK where he also teaches and supports MA students with their studies.

Working from rural Hampshire his sculptures are inspiring, often very elegant ceramics with thin fins that suggest a cool, delicate and precise mechanical outline. These resulting shapes catch the light and cast shadows that have in turn inspired their own series of captivating ink drawings.
