Setting up News template to show only specific categorised posts

Setting up News
In order to set up news to display only posts with the News category set. Make changes to the permalinks:
Custom structure: http://xxx.fivepilchard.com /%category%/%postname%/
and set
Category base: . (just dot)
This will force news to be displayed using the slug ‘news’ (the category value)
ie. http://xxx.fivepilchard.com/news
and the template is category-news.php
