4. From here most of the page’s content can be edited.
The Title bar, the main content is either in a basic WYSIWYG view or as HTML code for more control over the layout.
Inserting more images is best performed using the Feature image facility (bottom right). Click on the + , new screen, choose to either upload from your computer or load from your previously uploaded images in the media library. Insert and click okay. This should then appear in the right hand panel.

5. When editing is complete, click the Publish button to save the changes.
6. You can now use the toggled View Page in the top nav bar now to see your changes.

ii Adding New Pages

1. If you would like to add a new page to the site then click on the + New link in the top bar (from any page on site) and select Page.
2. The page will refresh and a blank page similar to page above will appear.
3. Fill in the page’s title, this will display and the main content area.

5. Add any images using the add media button above the text area. This will allow you to upload an image into the media library for use on the site. This image will be embedded into the text area. If you use the featured image facility on the right hand side this will add a picture to a new right hand column.

6. Using the Page attribute panel, select the parent folder/page for this new page. This is like the folder or web section which will contain the new page. For example select “About us” for the parent if the page is to appear under this section.
When finished click publish/update button to save and then select View page for the top bar to check your results.

If errors are made or you wish to explore other parts of the CMS please let us know and we will help. Hopefully this be enough for you to edit the existing pages.

Please note that although the system has a level of back-up provision, recovering deleted content is not guaranteed and keeping a local copy of text is therefore advisable. Likewise if any pages or sections are removed/deleted they may have to be rebuilt from scratch. So if you have any doubts or queries, please let us know.

Now you can enjoy your new fivepilchard Content Management System.

Done.
